What gets deleted

Your account is hidden from everyone at once. For 30 days you can bring it back by signing in; after that it is erased:

• Deleted Your profile (name, username, email, photo, bio, interests, gender, location, date of birth), trips, synced contacts, Lounge posts and replies, statuses, logbook, what you bought in the token shop and souvenirs sent or given, feedback, and your voice recordings.
• Freed Your phone number and username, so you could register again later.
• Kept Messages you sent stay in the other person's conversation, shown as from "Deleted User". Records of purchases are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Two exceptions. A suspended account's phone number is kept in a scrambled form until the suspension would have ended, so it can't be used to sign up again before then. And an account reported as involving someone under 18 keeps the details that identify it with the report, as the law may require. See the Privacy Policy.
